Traditional Photoshop Stamp Brushes
The most common question I get as an illustrator is “how do you make your digital work look so traditional?” In this package, I have included brushes made from my ever increasing library of traditional textures. Also included are eight paper textures, scanned from handmade experiments and century old books.
These 50 brushes were made using a variety of mediums such as charcoal, gouache, soft pastels, oil pastels, tissue paper, and water soluble graphite. Applied using brushes, sponges, cloth, and a tooth brush.
To be clear, these are STAMP brushes, and are intended to be used with adjustment layers and layer modes. These brushes are NOT meant for drawing/rendering. Although, feel free to tweak them a bit to your liking in the Photoshop brush engine.
You are free to use these brushes for both professional and personal work.
I hope you enjoy these brushes as much as I have! I would love to see how these are used, so feel free to mention me on instagram @henderson_nik, or use the hashtag #brushesbynik
